The Brief

Celebrating the arrival of the T20 Cricket World Cup, create a VIP super-fan experience that allows guests to immerse themselves inside a liveable Cricket Pavilion.

For sports fans looking for the ultimate Cricket Stay, we were approached to create 'The Pavilion' - a VIP pop-up boudoir for super-fans, just in time for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

In the unique setting of Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club in North London, the experience featured a luxury Airstream, fully wrapped in 'Booking Blue', and packed with every glamping mod-con going. This included a plasma screen TV for fans to catch every ball bowled, a giant 'cricket ball bar' and even a 'Cricket Glossary for Dummies' soundscape in the loo, ensuring guests had a good innings. Howzat!

The Pavilion

The Pavilion

With Booking.com being the official accommodation partner for the T20 World Cup, the experience also had to look the part. Consideration for the little things that make the game special was key to creating a great experience.

The Airstream was fitted with cricket jumper cushions, old-school scoreboards and even a little cricket helmet lamp (of course). As well as this, guests could take to the crease with a mini bat, ball and stumps, so even if rain delayed play, the game was always on.
